TENTS OF TAWILA

TENTS OF TAWILA is a humanitarian aviation thriller set in Darfur, where an overwhelming wave of refugees arrives in a matter of days, transforming a remote humanitarian operation into a desperate race against time.

Thousands of people are suddenly forced from their homes. Humanitarian workers face the daunting task of providing food, water, shelter and medical assistance to an ever-growing population, while the roads become impossible and the need continues to rise.

Then the aircraft begin arriving.

From the air, pilots and humanitarian crews rush supplies, medicine and emergency assistance into the crisis zone, flying against time and danger to keep people alive. Every flight matters. Every landing can mean the difference between reaching a community in time—or arriving too late.

As the humanitarian air operation expands, the people on the ground discover that the crisis is far more complicated than anyone expected. TENTS OF TAWILA takes the reader into the extraordinary world of humanitarian aviation, where courage, endurance and aircraft become the lifeline for thousands struggling to survive.
